The Master's Peace

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Isaiah 26-27, Philippians 2

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:" Isaiah 26:3‭-‬4

When we simply keep our minds on The Master, our God, we can be in perfect peace! Some go to great lengths to try to attain peace, comfort & joy in their lives...and while it can be FOUND elsewhere, it cannot be FULFILLED elsewhere! All we have to do is keep our minds on Jesus by rehearsing His Word, and we receive a sense of peace greater than anything else!

"LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us." Isaiah 26:12

God will ordain peace in our lives! This is the same God Who walked on water, cast out demons & healed the sick! So, even if things aren't quite going right, He can make a masterpiece by being the Master of Peace in any given situation! We just have to be willing to call upon His Name in prayer!

"fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind." Philippians 2:2

Again, we can be FULFILLED! We don't just get a glimpse or a touch...God knows how to fill the gaps & voids that other people or things do not...that's ultimate peace!

"that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:15

We are given The Master's Peace to share it as lights in this world! We cannot pour it out unless it's been poured in! Think on His Word. Call on His Name. See a more peaceful life develop, no matter the storm!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
