The Overcast Outcast

Bible Reading Today: Ezekiel 32-34

Ezekiel 34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

The weather may not always be stormy, but it may feel like a "cloudy and dark day" as this Scripture states. Although there may be sun outside the window, our hearts may feel empty. Far away from love, peace, joy, and even Truth...we feel like an outcast, with weather that's always a looming form of overcast clouds, not allowing any light to shine through...but there's hope! The Shepherd, Jesus Christ, is looking for you! He may even be knocking at the door of your heart through this Scripture! He is calling you to a life in the Light, not an overcast, overwhelmed, over-with outcast in the shadows! You mean something to The Lord. You have been created with purpose. The past can be forgiven! You just have to open the door He's been gently knocking on. You have to go through God's plan of salvation: Repentance, water baptism in Jesus' Name and receiving the Holy Ghost. There's nothing more refreshing than that! Get ready for greater things with God! There's a better forecast for someone who is done being an outcast, ready to live a brighter life for The Lord!
