The Reason
Reading of the Day 8/15/25: Song of Solomon 8, Isaiah 1-2
Isaiah 1:18: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
This post was meant for almost a month ago, but somehow The Lord always allows it to speak to me even if I revisit it at a later time. Reasoning...it's a tough thing to do in today's world. But if we think about it, the world's ways haven't changed. The same reason the prophets & preachers were killed, and most of all our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, is the same reason people are dying today. It's a sad case of forgetting The Reason behind the reasoning. Not many people reason for the sake of unity anymore. No longer wanting to find a way to come together. No longer wanting to drop certain ideals in order to have The Truth, peace, hope & love again. Isaiah said it right: "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:" Jesus is the Reason for our reasoning! He is the Hope at the end of everyone's search for Truth! And that's because we can look at the second half of that verse: "...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." He died, but rose again! He is alive today & brings each of us new life & a fresh start! Those who truly share Truth, share it from a place of equal imperfection. From a place of boldness, yet respect, dignity & humility. It takes a lot of bravery not to bend...but honestly, we have the easiest message to share. We ALL must be forgiven. Because of His red blood, we can have a white, clean, blank slate. We can celebrate this, while also mourning for those who still, to this day, shed blood for Truth. There is no reason for these acts except for a lack of being able to reason...or even, maturely agreeing to disagree. Sadly, some don't want to reason...because they don't want THE Reason behind the reasoning. It keeps coming full circle. There were just some crowds Isaiah couldn't reason with. There will be people we, too, cannot reason with. But that's ok, because when we have The Reason, we don't need the crowds. We don't reason just to be right...we are simply hoping & praying that they find The Reason too...Isaiah 6:8-9: "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not."

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
