The Solution to Confusion
Based on Psalms 70-71, Romans 8:22-39
"In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: Let me never be put to confusion." Psalm 71:1
It's hard to go through hardships, trauma & suffering...but even more so when we are confused in the process! It is one thing to know what's ahead so we can prepare ourselves, but it's another to be completely clueless...but when we trust in God, he calms our confusion! The more we pray, the more His plan unfolds and we become comforted! And even if the way is not completely revealed, having faith & trust in The One who can see it all is enough!
"O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: And hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works." Psalm 71:17
God does not only exist...He wants to be present in our lives! He wants to teach us what we need to do, especially in confusing situations! When we seek Him, we seek a solution! But when we place our trust elsewhere, we are not being helped as we should!
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
When we love God & live out our calling, it's all going to work out for the best! It's plainly written; no need for confusion! He IS the Solution to our confusion!
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39
None of our fears, doubts, worries, confusion, grief, depression, or anything else is able to stand up against God! None of it stops our God from loving us, so why don't we love Him back by having more faith & more trust in Him?

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
