The Truth is...
Bible Reading 9/22: Zechariah 8-14
Zechariah 8:16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
Much of these chapters of Zechariah gives us a clear picture of the last days...from the time of Jesus until now! This Scripture above provides a simple explanation of what we must do in these times-speak the Truth! We must speak it to our neighbors. We must speak it to our family & friends. This Truth, presented in peace, will mean the salvation of our loved ones! Repent, be baptized in Jesus' Name & receive the Holy Ghost...and then live a beautiful life pleasing The Lord until that final day comes! This is the core of salvation, and the whole Bible complements it clearly. Sometimes we complicate things out of fear of rejection, stating, "The Truth is..." then we try encasing the Truth in the best packaging of words for those we love to receive it. But in reality, we might just be complicating the process! The Truth is...we need to boldly share this simple Truth! It doesn't have to be encased in a complex story or presentation we think will impress them enough to receive it...it just needs to be encased in peace, patience & love!
