The Value of a Foundation
Bible Reading Today: 1 Kings 7, 2 Chronicles 4
And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits. 1 Kings 7:10
A beautiful building would be nothing without a secure foundation-literally! We wouldn't see a skyline or any type of building we see today without a strong start at the bottom. The bottom is a difficult place to build up from, but in reality, it's the only way! The temple in Solomon's day had a foundation of costly stones, as this Scripture states...what is the value of our foundation we are building for our families? Are we using strong stones, or sand? We can think of the 3 little pigs to put it into perspective-sticks & hay are easier to get, less heavy & the work is probably so much faster than using bricks-but what's going to block out the enemy? Exactly! The hardest project is the strongest & most worth it...every stone counts! The Word of God is the strongest, most valuable foundation we can put into place for our families-every Scripture is a costly stone that can block out the lies, confusion & evil attacks on the family that are happening today! The value of a Godly, Spiritual foundation is priceless and eternal!!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
