The Voice above the Noise
Based on Jeremiah 32-33, Hebrews 1
We live in a loud world of competitive opinions & voices. Some of those voices may be our own! All chiming in together, but not really sounding like chimes at all-but more like noise! The true music to our ears is the Voice of our God!
"the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at first, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 33:11
When we focus on Jesus & use our voices to praise & worship Him, we can easily drown out the negative voices of this world. He IS the Voice above the noise! Just like a call & response song, His voice should be the call, and ours should be a response which is in tune with Him. Instead of a noisy world of competitive opinions, the praising response to God's call creates beautiful music to His ears & to those around us!
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" Hebrews 1:1-2
God spoke through Jeremiah the prophet by His voice, and then it was the voice of God Himself speaking as Jesus! Jesus IS our God! He has spoken! He is alive! Are we listening? Are we taking in His Word as a call, and our prayer & praise as a loving response? Let's make Him the Voice above the Noise!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
