The Work is Worth it!

Reading of the Day 5/8/25: 2 Chronicles 15-17

2 Chronicles 15:7: Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

If king Asa needed to hear this during his time, then we sure do as well! It is so amazing how God speaks directly into our lives right when we need it...and He uses His living Word, even though it was written thousands of years ago! His Word always speaks. And this Scripture is a Word I have definitely needed! With all the time & attention that needs to be poured into many things, sometimes all at once, it is easy to shut down & feel overwhelmed. It is easier to do nothing than to do a little something more, because we think, "What's the point, that little bit more won't make a difference." But the Truth is, it will! We can't forget that even baby steps matter. That's why we must stay strong! We can't release our hands from the work just yet! We can't give up! Our work SHALL be rewarded! We can't just stay focused on the task without reminding ourselves that there is something waiting on the other side. As a Mom, the work invested shows over time. Some things happen quickly, while others are grown into. This Scripture is truly a help to me in this season! I love it so much, even though there are many points of weakness, failure, struggle, and sorrow. Consistency in the peace of God is difficult through life's ups & downs, but the work is well worth it! If we hold onto God, His Word holds us! There will be a reward! There will be joy, peace, love, stability, growth, and many more things ahead if we just stay faithful, as He always is to us!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
