THERE IS BETTER LIFE!

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Ruth 1-4, Luke 8:1-25

When something goes wrong, or prolongs a dream or goal we have from taking place, how quick are we to walk away? Do we hang on too tightly to what we envision the outcome to look like, or do we let God break it down in order to multiply it to something greater? What if we only experience half the miracles we could potentially experience because we don't let God surprise us and change things for our good?

I know, LOTS of questions to start this one out, but I've been asking myself these questions lately! I want to be sure that I let God's dreams for me happen, because that's where the better life is! I don't want to lose hope when it seems to not go my way; I want to let God use it for a better life than I ever thought possible! Give God your dreams! Just look at Ruth!

"And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me." Ruth 1:16‭-‬17.

Using Ruth's physical eyes, it was clear that there was nothing left for her. Naomi could no longer offer her anything of value...but God could still use this dead dream! THE VOWS WERE STILL VALID! Somehow, God gave this foreign Moabite hope in Him that her connection to Naomi and her family was still fruitful. The physical seed of her dead husband couldn't provide anything, but GOD could cause a Spiritual, miraculous encounter to take place to cause life in this family once again! Just like Jesus rose from the dead today!

"And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust."
Ruth 2:11‭-‬12.

The miraculous encounter was with Boaz, a near kinsman in Naomi's family! Ruth came to trust the wings of God to carry her where she needed to be. How often do we leave it all behind to trust that God can multiply our dreams? That His purpose is greater than our own visions for ourselves?

"And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not." Ruth 2:16.

Again, His purpose is greater! There is BETTER life with Him! He doesn't accidentally take care of us, like Boaz with Ruth...Boaz purposefully let more grain fall for Ruth to take home to Naomi, and God lets blessings come down to us on purpose when we place our dreams in His Hands!

"Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day."
Ruth 4:10.

God used Boaz to complete the dream!! And this connection would be used for more than one child, but this is the same bloodline which led from David to Christ! THERE IS BETTER HOPE! THERE IS BETTER LIFE!

"But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience." Luke 8:15.

The threshing floor brought forth wheat from the soil, but that's not where the promise came from...Ruth's heart was good soil! She wanted to serve Naomi's God, and He became her God! She trusted Him with her life which seemed hopeless & dead...and as the Scripture says, fruit was brought forth with patience! DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS; GIVE THEM TO GOD!

TAKE THE "RUTH LEAP OF FAITH" STARTING HERE:

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38.

The Resurrection of Jesus was to show that we can have new life too! Experience the miracle of new birth, new life, new dreams & a new loving connection to Jesus today!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
