Through it All
Bible Reading Today: 2 Chronicles 6-7, Psalm 136
Psalms 136:16 To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.
As we discovered in the last post, God is there for us in the thick of it...but, He alone has the way of escape! The saying goes, if He brought you to it, He'll lead you through it! And that's exactly what God does for us! Yes, He might allow a storm. Yes, He might bring us to the wilderness...but there's never a point where God abandons us! The sad thing is, we can choose to abandon God...but if we ever want to return, He will bring us back to the last lesson we didn't learn-that place where we need to learn to trust! He will lead us through the wilderness...through it all, He will bring us through it all! Just like these chapters discuss the temple & its significance...if the people strayed away from God, they could return, pray & God would welcome them back & bless them...through everything, through it all...so no matter how far we feel we drift, God is there to give us a lift! He will bring us through it all!
