Times & Seasons

Based on Psalms 74-76, Romans 9:16-33

"The day is thine, the night also is thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: Thou hast made summer and winter."

Psalm 74:16‭-‬17

God created great contrast in creation's design. He allowed there to be times & seasons we could recognize in order to be prepared for what was to come...and He does this with the ways of the world as well! He allows us to see the changes and the warning signs so that we, too, can climb aboard a modern-day ark and sail on our way to our Heavenly home! The ark of today is Acts 2:38!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

It is the time & season to get on board with God! Rain or shine. Snow or hail. Through thick & thin...let God be God in your life! He makes all our times & seasons more beautiful as He navigates us through every up & down...all the way into eternity!

"And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; There shall they be called the children of the living God."

Romans 9:26

There was a time & season where there was Gentile & Jew. God's people & "the others." But that was never God's plan for humanity! He calls us ALL, and we must choose to be chosen! Yes, the Jews were especially selected as God's chosen to set the example, but even they needed to realize that their being chosen was to show others that they too could be loved & saved by God! And that's what Jesus came to remind them of! God is no respecter of persons: "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:"

Acts 10:34. Therefore we must all realize the time & season of urgency to walk with God closer than we ever have before! The world easily puts God aside...so let's put Him in remembrance!

"For many are called, but few are chosen."

Matthew 22:14

In this season of life, it's time to choose Him!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
