TIREDNESS IS A DISTRACTION!

TIREDNESS IS A DISTRACTION!

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Philippians 4:13. Yes, as Moms I feel there's a lingering tiredness & fatigue which doesn't ever fully go away. That's because we are always thinking "What's next? What else do I need to get done?"

But never fear (or yawn)! We can do ALL THINGS through Christ, and He'll give us the strength to do it!

Does this mean we neglect our rest & responsibility to care for ourselves? No way! Remember, He brings true rest!

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28.

Again, it's all about that balance! I feel like I'm constantly going back to Mary & Martha, but the story aligns with our daily experiences & tasks! Bro Thompson has come to visit us at church & just spoke about the fact that everything we do is a "God thing." It is something that contributes to our walk with God. When we look at life that way, the physical tiredness & problems won't seem so overwhelming!

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33.

It's not just about the balance of Mary & Martha. It's about putting the "Mary" things first! While everything can be used to give glory to God as a "God thing," we do have to prioritize. We will then be able to do all things through Christ's strength! We can rely on His rest, and therefore know that any tiredness is just a distraction when we have ourselves balanced in The Lord!

Take care of your relationship with God, and He will take care of you. Have strength & get stuff done in Jesus' Name! Love y'all! ❤❤❤

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
