Turn for the Better
Bible Reading 3/18: Deuteronomy 21-23
Deuteronomy 23:5 Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
A bad situation does not have to stay that way...it could look ugly, bad, or scary...but our perspective doesn't have to be! We can rejoice in excitement knowing that God can even use scenarios that seem negative or unfavorable for His glory! Yes, they can be hurtful or unpleasant, but we can have anticipation & expectation in The Lord & say, "Ok God, how are You going to use this one!?" Just as the Scripture states, what was supposed to be a curse turned into a blessing through Balaam being faithful & obedient to God! Instead of a turn for the worst, is was a turn for the better! Let's claim that over our own lives & see The Lord do the miraculous even in the midst of a mess! A little obedience & faithfulness go a really long way!
