Unchanged & Unchained
Bible Reading Today: Malachi
Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
This verse is so powerful for 2 great reasons-number 1, God doesn't change! That is good to know, because the world may give up on us. It may let us down. Things will run out. What is strong weakens over time...but God is still just as powerful today as when He created the universe, parted the Red Sea, and Resurrected from the grave! Knowing that amazing, unchanging feature about our Heavenly Father brings us to the next point-the sons of Jacob are not consumed! Consumption & destruction are not God's plan, and if God is unchanged, then we are unchained by destruction, death & all demonic oppression as well! God's unchanging nature allows us to live an unchained, unbound & free life as we get into His Body. We can walk confidently up to an altar, humbly repent, be washed & cleansed through baptism & receive His refreshing Spirit speaking in a new Heavenly language! In doing so, our path on earth is one that leads toward Heaven! So as we can see, life was always God's plan for us! We were always meant to have a way out! Our unchanged God changes us into unchained Spiritual beings!
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
