Reading of the Day: Psalms 84-86

Psalm 86:11: Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

In light of our recent Independence Day, this Scripture reminded of me what it truly means to be united. Yes, we can come together as a people. And there is power in that...but it's a fleshly power that will one day subside...even with the largest number of people. There is a power greater, and His Name is Jesus! When we unify ourselves with Him & connect with His Word, we stand united with the power of the Spiritual, Supernatural, Eternal God! And with that beautiful bond comes a love, a peace & a joy that words cannot even describe! As this Scripture says, we must ask Him to unite our hearts to fear Him. In that fear & worship comes a loving relationship unmatched by anything this world has to offer-and there are so many causes people rally together for nowadays! But the One cause most worthy, most satisfying, and most long-lasting, is the cause of Christ! The cause for every soul on the planet to be saved & go to Heaven one day! That's a cause we can ALL get behind...remember, united we stand, divided we fall! From a previous post a while back: Do we want to be united, or untied? Matthew 12:25: "And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:"

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
