United, or Untied?

Based on Psalms 132-134, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Psalm 133:1

This may have been a concept I touched on in a previous blog post, but I just think it's so appropriate that these two words, "united" and "untied", are compared! The difference in the division of letters truly makes all the difference! And, the unity of the letters in a certain way makes all the difference as well! Being united, without argument or division, is so good & pleasant, and we should strive for that especially in the Body of Christ! We should not want to be loosely connected, divided or untied!

"Behold, bless ye the LORD, All ye servants of the LORD, Which by night stand in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the LORD ." Psalm 134:1‭-‬2

The Word speaks to the group as a whole! That the saints together, the servants of The Lord, should stand together, lift up their hands & bless The Lord. The power behind a united church is so great, because God sees all the members of His Body committed! Imagine if many members of our bodies just started to fail us out of nowhere...we would fight for unity again, wanting to fix it in any way possible! That's what God wants for His church!

"For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it." 1 Corinthians 11:18

Let us not give into rumors or lies from unreliable, untied sources! Let us not become divided if we have issues, but come together to talk & seek reconciliation! If there's some type of misunderstanding, seek understanding! If there's some type of unforgiveness, seek forgiveness! But first & foremost, seek The Lord in prayer & His Word, and He will help you to tie up the loose ends & become united once again!
