Unity Opportunity
Based on Job 34-35, Acts 15:1-21
"And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, And will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up:" Acts 15:15-16
While Job's friends continually sought division between them & Job, trying to show how he was wrong & they were right (remember: right or righteous?), the disciples & the growing church were trying to come together in agreement about certain issues they were facing. They were seeking a unity opportunity! They did not want there to be division, and they knew all things needed to be done God's way, not their way. Jesus said He would build up the ruins! Whatever problem they were facing, He would put the pieces together in a way which made sense! And He will still do that today!
"Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: but that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day."
Acts 15:19-21
Instead of being a hindrance, be a helper! Again, seek out that unity opportunity! That doesn't mean to accept what's wrong, but to encourage what's right! (Again, speaking that Truth in LOVE!). As Jesus was a builder, building relationships, building bridges in the gaps of brokenness, bringing people closer to Him, because He is God (hey, He was a carpenter too, right?), we too must think in that same dimension! Seek how we can connect & ultimately bring people closer to Jesus! We can't fix every problem, but Jesus can! Just get them to Him!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
