Unleavened & Upright
Based on Psalms 110-112, 1 Corinthians 5
"The works of his hands are verity and judgment; All his commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever, And are done in truth and uprightness."
Psalm 111:7-8
The world can sometimes feed our brains with garbage; things that we just don't need to focus on, or shouldn't focus on...after they enter our brains, the thoughts which stem from those things can stir up fear & all other kinds of emotions...soon, we are affected more than we ever thought we could be...but instead of the media & current events doing that to us, let's allow God's Word of Truth, unfiltered & unleavened, enter into our minds, nourish us, give us peace in our emotions, and allow us to be upright in heart!
"Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous." Psalm 112:4
Not only is God True, but He is so loving & compassionate to the upright! Those who follow His Word find comfort because His Word is sure, and beyond that, He loves us beyond measure! The media usually just gives us information, drops those thoughts in our minds, and is not there to show us any compassion or comfort after the fact...but God is ALWAYS there for us!
"Surely he shall not be moved for ever: The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance." Psalm 112:6
Nothing can move Him away from His upright! He does not abandon us!
"therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
1 Corinthians 5:8
Let's not consume the leaven that leaves us dry, disturbed & depressed! Let's consume the nourishing, unleavened Truth of God's Word, which helps us stay upright, uplifting & up to Heaven one day!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
