Bible Reading Today: 2 Chronicles 19-23

and he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not your's, but God's. 2 Chronicles 20:15

We don't own our problems-and they don't own us! I love this above Scripture which just reminds us that God loves us. He owns us...and He also fights for us! If our problems & battles seem too big for us to handle & fight on our own, that's because they are! It's just God giving us a gentle reminder to trust in Him. He does not give us more than we can handle, but helps us handle what we are given! The battle is not ours, and if we face things without The Lord, we might just be causing pain & hardship to ourselves which was unnecessary! Sometimes, we are meant to take a backseat & watch God work! In this above instance, the enemy destroyed itself! Trust in God, disown your troubles, and place them in His Hands! Watch Him work, and when it's time for you to act accordingly, things will be that much easier! This doesn't mean we don't take responsibility, but it does mean we consult God's powerful authority!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
