Unstoppable

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Nehemiah 4-6, Acts 2:22-47

"And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses." Nehemiah 4:14

In order to be motivated & unstoppable on our walk with God, we have to understand that persecution is reality, especially in a world where we are constantly being told to question everything...it's hard to stand for Truth when it's being torn out of our lives...but someone who is unstoppable doesn't let it get torn out of their hearts! As Nehemiah was building the wall, words from outsiders tried to tear it down. They may have kicked a few bricks. But his dream never fell to the ground! His God meant more to him than the pain of persecution! The dream is STILL worth it!

"And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?" Nehemiah 6:3

Being unstoppable also means that we must pray for the discernment to know who is tricking us. Sometimes, the persecution is direct & recognizable...sometimes, it seems like a help or a comfort that's trying to get us to ease up on our convictions...either way, it's a trap! We need to be on guard, as our first Scripture stated, for our children in this day & hour...and like this above Scripture, we can't come down & compromise just to take a break or have it a little easier. God got Nehemiah through it all and prospered him! Giving in to the enemy will not give us satisfaction in the end...but choosing God is always the path to fulfillment!

"Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; Thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance." Acts 2:28

God lets us know how it is. Through prayer, He keeps us on track...and He gives us the joy to continue with a positive attitude, no matter what comes our way! God is always the way to go! Stay unstoppable!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Acts 2:38‭-‬39

The one way to truly stay unstoppable is to enter into that place of safety. Just like Nehemiah had his wall, which he knew would be a strength & defense for his people with God at the forefront, Acts 2:38 is our wall! When we enter in, we live a life more motivated & prepared for eternity! We start fresh, building up that loving relationship with God! It's essential. It's vital. It helps us be unstoppable as long as we keep relying on God, and seeking His perfect will!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
