WE NEED JESUS!

Based on Genesis 29-30, Matthew 9:1-17

The terminally ill. The barren womb. The broken heart. When Jesus Christ, our God and our Lord, steps on the scene, you can believe with everything you've got that He will do a miracle healing & transformation! He loves us. He has mercy upon us. WE NEED CHANGE. WE NEED JESUS-physically, mentally, Spiritually, emotionally, behaviorally...in every way!

"And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach: And she called his name Joseph; and said, The Lord shall add to me another son." Genesis 30:22‭-‬24.

For a LONG time, Rachel was not able to have children. Many mothers today are saddened by this too, but oh what the power of God can do! Praying about things MOVES MOUNTAINS! God remembers us when we are hurting, in any & every situation! God allowed Rachel to have a son, and we have to believe God will turn the impossible to possible too! Rachel even named Joseph prophesying that she would have another son one day, and she did! His name was Benjamin. When a miracle happens once, IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN! But where is our faith??

Jesus heals our bodies, and He is the only One who can also heal the soul!

"And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Matthew 9:10‭-‬13.

Yes, Jesus is the Great Physician who can heal our bodies. But He is also the One Great God who can deliver us and heal us from the sickness of sin! The Pharisees saw what Jesus was doing on the outside, sitting with sinners. But they did not see the operation taking place on the inside as Jesus worked upon their hearts! Sometimes, we need to pray for God to bring us through physical surgery...but sometimes, we need to pray for God to DO surgery on our hearts!

Has it been a long time since you surrendered it all to God? Have you prayed for a physical issue, but maybe lost focus on God after the healing came? We've all veered off-track before. We've all needed times of refresh & re-focus. No time like the present! And the greatest present we can receive is Jesus in us!

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Acts 2:38.
