WEAKNESS DOES NOT MEAN USELESS!

WEAKNESS DOES NOT MEAN USELESS!

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9. Sometimes "weak" is right where God wants us! It is not pleasant; it is not a place to stay, but there's a lesson to be learned which then brings us strength!

If we miss the lesson through our time of weakness, only THEN will we be useless. Yes, we might feel better when we find a way to temporarily fix our problem without God, but WITH God, we will learn our lessons and not have to keep returning to that same weak spot! In that way, we can be used to help someone else!

"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10.

True strength comes when we don't run from weakness. Light can shine through something broken easily, but it's hard for light to shine through a wall.

"He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength." Isaiah 40:29.

Don't be afraid to be weak & in need. Without that essential quality, it's hard for God to work with us! Let your guard down with God, and God will give you the strength you need!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
