What are we missing?
In many ways, for many different reasons, we always look at opportunity cost. What will we be missing out on if we make this choice? Or, how about that lovely choice over there? Although that's normal and usually the wise thing to do, sometimes we are so wrapped up in what we're missing that we don't realize what we have.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:" Psalms 103:2. Psalm 103 has been presented to me as a daily morning read from my Pastor's wife & Church Mom, Sister Sagil (she is involved in our Moms Group, too!). Each verse makes me happier & happier as I read, so I would love to share this reading recommendation with you! But the above verse is the focus of my day today: forget not all HIS benefits!
So, what are we REALLY missing out on in our daily decision-making? If we are not focused on God, then we are missing out on a whole lot!
"I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." Proverbs 8:17. God does not make it difficult to find Him! Search His Word! As stated, HE LOVES US and loves when we seek Him early, before we make any decision that would exclude Him & His benefits from our day!
This world's benefits do not compare to God's. His help is much more needful and valuable than anything we can choose in our own power. Don't forget God. Don't forget His benefits. He has got so much good in store for you; DON'T MISS OUT!!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
