WHAT DOES LIFE MEANS!?
I know this isn't proper English, but this is a question my 4-year-old has actually asked me a few times before! When he asks me, I just say it short & sweet: LIFE MEANS JESUS!
"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." 1 John 5:12.
In answering my son's question, at first I was like, ok, God has the answer. But then I realized: God IS the answer! It's a relationship with Him that brings us from this life to an eternal life. Yes, there are many wonderful blessings in this life that He is able to provide, but it's because of Him that it's all possible! So, in the end, life is found in Him & He is the only One we can carry with us to eternity!
"He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
Matthew 10:39.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6.
Jesus is God. Jesus is Life. He is what life means! Have a blessed day with the One who blesses us beyond measure!
