What we're really looking for.
Bible Reading Today: 1 Kings 10-11, 2 Chronicles 9
1 Kings 10:24 And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
People search high & low for that perfect life that's going to suit them-complete with career, family, house, car, etc. So many choices, so much wisdom needed in each one...and it's usually a complicated process which comes with a lot of second-guessing. However, if we seek God before chasing a dream, everything will fall into place! We will also come to realize that in everything we do, God brings us the most peace & happiness! He is The One we are REALLY looking for, and in finding Him, we become abundantly blessed with so much! This Scripture states that people of all the earth came to Solomon to hear his Godly wisdom. No one, nothing compares to our God & His abilities! The journeys back then were long & much more difficult than travelling today, but people still made the journeys to hear The Word from The Lord through Solomon! Sadly, travel is so much easier today, and yet many trust and look to so many other things for satisfaction instead of a church service...but we can be just as in awe of God in our day & age! Our impossible today is still possible with God! Seek Him first! "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33
