When we know Jesus...

Based on Ecclesiastes 10-12, Galatians 1

"As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all." Ecclesiastes 11:5

Our God is Jesus Christ, and we may not always understand the way He does things, or even why...but when we get to know HIM, we no longer worry or stress about the "why"! We only have more trust that, even if the process doesn't make sense, Jesus always brings us to the best conclusion & solution!

"In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good." Ecclesiastes 11:6

This passage then encourages us to keep going anyway! After describing what we don't know, we are encouraged to just keep doing what we know to do! To keep working. To keep moving. To keep going! God will work out what we don't know! Remember, when we know HIM, that's all we need! Of course, as we pray & seek Him, things are revealed to us...but if God chooses not to reveal certain things, then we just have to be faithful & trust that He is the same God in the known as the unknown! He sees all! He knows all! We can't be God, but we can love God!!

"For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: and profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers."

Galatians 1:13‭-‬14

When didn't know Jesus, he trusted in his traditions to lead him through life...while it was a building block & stepping stone, it wasn't quite the relationship Jesus was wanting to have with him. Thankfully, Paul responded quickly when Jesus made Himself known to Paul, wanting to take him from the known to the unknown!

"But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:" Galatians 1:15‭-‬16

Paul immediately knew who he must serve! His conversion didn't make sense to many, but it did to him! Remember, Jesus was first revealed to Paul, and so immediate trust developed! We first need to get to know Jesus more & more, then we can watch our trust build, right alongside that relationship with Him! We will soon have no fear of the unknown, and only have faith that God will work it out!
