Where to?
Bible Reading Today: Numbers 8-10
Numbers 9:18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.
I don't know about you, but I'm not so good at driving directions. If it's not mapped out, I am pretty much lost (and never use terms like "north, south, east & west" lol). Not sure why I've never grasped that, but I'm sure I should pray about it! Anyway, I find comfort in directions...in knowing when to go where in order to arrive at the desired destination. That's why I feel that the Israelites could rest in their tents when they weren't given the green light by God. They rested in the fact that God knew best about the direction they needed to go, or if they just needed to stay put for a while. While many of us desire the same set of directions, some of us don't want anything to do with them. We want to have the final say in where to go in our lives...but I find that the best place to go is closer to God! If the direction you are headed distances you from God, pray about it! There will probably be a lot of restlessness until you find God's path for your life...because His path leads to Heavenly places! Find Jesus. Find rest. Find peace. Ask God, "Where to?" And I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
