Who am I?
Based on Exodus 1-3, Matthew 14:1-21
Many tasks face us each & every day. The list seems to pile up and topple over upon itself constantly! We ask, "Who am I to be able to accomplish all this!? I can't possibly..." and the descriptions go on & on...
But when we face the impossible, we must face our God in prayer...because He makes it possible! Especially when it's something which pleases God & a part of His perfect Will! Moses asked this same question to God: "Who am I?" And God's response is, "I AM!"
"And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?"
Exodus 3:11.
Moses most definitely thought he was unqualified to bring his people out of bondage as God wanted him to do. He automatically thought he was not cut-out for the job. And, he was right! But God was not wrong in choosing him! Moses just forgot one important detail: God would be with Him! It would be God working through Moses, not Moses' strength & power alone!
"And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."
Exodus 3:12-14.
Alone, we crumble under the pressure of each day's demands. With God, we rise up in victory! Next time you ask, "Who am I?" Remember, God is watching, waiting & saying, "I AM! I AM HERE! I AM THE SOLUTION! I AM WITH YOU! CHOOSE ME!!!"
He is the God Who would soon part the waters for this man Moses, and He is the God who fed a sea of 5,000 people:
"And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children." Matthew 14:19-21.
5,000 PLUS WOMEN & CHILDREN! He is ALWAYS I AM!
Don't get intimidated by the To-Do list, instead, face it with God & finish strong!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
