Who am I?
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 1-3
Exodus 3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
The complexity & intensity that we can face in just one day can seem overwhelming...many situations can arise, a lot of the time unexpectedly. How about a lifetime? Last post was about life's purpose, and how life itself is the purpose...just living life the way God intended, following His plan...but sometimes we ask, who am I? How can I handle something so big & important? Moses asked God the same question, and as we know, he is one of the great men of God in the Bible! A few verses after this question & some other concerns, God answers in an interesting way: Exodus 3:14: "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." When we say, who am I? We need to remember the I AM! Our Creator created us with an intended purpose & a fulfilling life ahead of us...let's continue to pray into that together! For every "I am not good enough" there's the I AM!
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
