With God

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Jeremiah 11-12, Psalm 112

"1: Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments." Psalm 112:1.9.

The worries of this life can really cause a "wear & tear" affect on our bodies & emotions. When we let those difficulties get ahold of us, we begin to allow in more doubt, frustration & fear for the future.

Thankfully, we have a responsive God! He never leaves us. He never forsakes us. We just have to choose to walk WITH GOD! We need to delight in His commandments to live the most blessed & best life we can live!

"3: And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant," Jeremiah 11:3.

Now this is not to say that God desires us to be cursed, but think about it...how many times did we try to fix a problem & we made it worse? I know I have! God KNOWS what's coming next! If we trust Him, He will help us through it. If we don't, we are going at it blind. We need to obey His commandments. We need to delight in them. We need to be thankful that there's a "fool-proof" method to this world's madness! Obey God, love Him & watch blessings pour into your life!

"5: That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD." Jeremiah 11:5.

God wants to give us abundant promises instead of curses, and again, that depends on if we are with God, or with the enemy. God has an oath. He sticks to His Word. Will we follow through for Him??

STAY WITH GOD!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
