Bible Reading Today: Genesis 19-21

Genesis 21:22 And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

Sometimes, our lives speak for themselves. We don't always have to try to convince people of things, they can just see it by the way we live...that is the most true when we live for God! We don't understand the far-reaching affect a Spiritual life can have on others, who might seem so distant...sometimes it will be those distant people who speak up & recognize God in our lives, like Abimelech & Phichol recognized in Abraham! They said, "God is with thee in all that thou doest:" And these men were from the land of the Philistines! You just never know who is watching, or who will learn more about God just by watching God bless you in your life. Although these men did not end up fearing God in the end, Abraham kept on trusting...and at least it was a pretty good witness! With God, we can send positivity & encouragement without even knowing it, as long as we keep being faithful! "But Jesus beheld them , and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
