Witness The Light
Based on John 1-3, Psalm 143
"There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe." John 1:6-7.
John the Baptist was sent into the world for a purpose: to bear witness of The Light, Jesus Christ, so people would believe. The only way out of darkness, the only way out of being lost, is to look for Jesus, our Light! We have to witness it ourselves, then witness to others, then win them to Jesus! We have the same purpose as John the Baptist-pointing people to Jesus!
"That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world." John 1:9.
Let Jesus light up your world! Let Him guide your every step! Witness the light. Abide in the light. Never again lose your way! If your past is filled without a lot of darkness, things you'd rather not think about...let Jesus refresh you with some light! Don't be afraid to step out in faith. Coming into the light sometimes means exposure, so we shy away...but when hidden things come to the surface, it's the only way we can give them away to Jesus in repentance! Then comes baptism, like John the Baptist, and receiving the Holy Ghost-the baptism of The Spirit! Receive His Spirit & receive a lighted, delightful life!
"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." John 1:29.
Behold The Lamb. Behold The Light. Behold Jesus, and all will be made right!
