Wresting, or Resting?
Based on Ezekiel 40-41, 2 Peter 3
These 2 chapters of Ezekiel reference the measurements of the temple buildings and inner courts of the Holy City. Every detail was considered, and nothing was left out (or left up to human decision). This vision of all the exact measurements was a God thing! How do we measure up in God's Kingdom? Are we wresting, meaning pulling, yanking or prodding at the world to try to make something of ourselves, being our own creator? Or are we resting, meaning resting in The Lord & allowing Him to make the best of us?
"as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:16
Those who choose not to study the Scriptures are unstable, only standing upon the temporary false foundations of the world. They wrest (wrestle) with themselves, other people, other things, and even God...continuing on a path of resistance instead of rest! We can rest on Scripture! Scripture is stable! And we can then measure up to God's Perfect Will for our lives! We just have to stop fighting it sometimes!
"Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness."
2 Peter 3:17
We know God is there. We have studied many Scriptures together this past year! It is now time to reflect on where God wants us to go from here...the experiences He wants to have with us at church...a life of repentance, getting baptized in Jesus' Name & seeking to receive The Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in new tongues is the best place to start & kick off 2022! Who's ready to measure up to a higher calling!? Excited for what God's going to do!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
