Written on My Heart
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 28-29
Exodus 28:29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
We carry our loved ones around with us, wherever we go. Even when we are not with them, if they are alive or if they have passed away, their names are forever sealed upon our hearts. They are a constant reminder & motivation for us to do what we do everyday. That depth of love is not something man-made...it is a work of God! Aaron bore the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate upon his heart as he went in & out of the holy place, as a memorial before The Lord continually. As we go about our lives, but especially in & out of church & our own personal prayer closets, we carry our loved ones with us. We pray for them. We intercede for them. And that is the greatest form of love...because remember, God is Love! Being in His presence is an overflow of that Love...and so just as Aaron prayed & sacrificed for God's people, we do the same. We long for our loved ones to be beside us in church, in those holy and Heavenly places! They will forever be written on our hearts, and forever written upon God's heart as well!
