Yet being unperfect...
Reading of the Day: Psalms 138-140
Psalm 139:16: Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
These Psalms talk a lot about the process of God creating our being. Our physical bodies are shaped & formed so intricately in the womb, and only God alone could have done something like that! It did not happen by chance! He sees every part clearly, even before we are ready to be born. Before both eyes can see. Before both ears can hear. Before each organ is developed and fully functions properly. Completely incomplete. As the Scripture says, unperfect. Being unperfect, our being is unperfect. Our body is not quite matured, yet God sees us through it all...and He is the One at work! And this compares directly with our spiritual being, being unperfect. Being immature. Being unprepared for our calling in ministry. Being fearful of what is expected of us. But God doesn't want us to abandon our walk with Him for these reasons! Without God, the perfecting process is not possible, so there's no way to be or feel ready without Him! Through the baby stages, we need to be fully transparent with Him. That's how we get to walk with Him during our more mature, experienced days! There is nothing we can hide! There is nothing we can "get right" before committing to a true Christian walk with God! In fact, it's in admitting that we are nothing without Him that truly prepares us for being a mature Christian...and that's hard to do! Because even as we grow & learn, we will never be perfect...we will always be perfecting until we see Heaven! But that's okay, because every step is one step closer! Yet being unperfect, He loves us. He has grace for us. We just need to keep moving forward!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
